Why I Love My Physical Therapist Assistant Job

Physical Therapist Assistants love their PTA jobs. Just ask Matthew Kelly, who submitted the winning video to the TherapyJobs.com "Love Your Job" video contest. Matt likes being a physical therapist assistant not only because he enjoys helping people, but also because it's an active job.

As you will see in the video, Matthew takes great pride in helping people through some of the hardest times in their lives. As a physical therapist assistant, he usually encounters people after they have experienced an accident or an injury. He enjoys helping to alleviate the stress of those experiences and focuses on making their time in rehab a little more fun.

Matthew primarily works in outpatient orthopedic settings, and he enjoys travel work too. He believes being passionate about what you do can positively affect patient outcomes.
