Swedish Medical Center, the largest nonprofit healthcare provider in the Greater Seattle area, has an exciting opportunity at its First Hill Campus location for Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists.
The Pediatric Rehabilitation Service Therapist delivers and supervises others in the delivery of therapy services to children, from newborn to teen, in a spacious, stimulating facility especially designed for children. Our team of highly experienced pediatric therapists work with children to help them recover from serious injuries or overcome certain aspects of long-term disabilities, such as autism, brachial plexus injury, development delay, premature infants / babies born with complications, sensory motor impairments, and much more!
Experience hands-on responsibility for delivering and supervising others in the delivery of services, by performing evaluations and developing individual treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes, actively participating in discharge planning, implementing the treatment program and reassessing treatment results. Services are delivered within the framework of a team approach, including disciplines, significant others and the patient.
Qualified candidates must have proven knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan. Experience in collecting and assessing data of the patient’s status, as well as interpreting the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements reflective to specific needs and provide the care needed, is key to your success.
