Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist
Full Time- Day Shift

The SLP evaluates and diagnoses patients in order to determine appropriate therapeutic techniques.
Plan and implement a therapy program for patients to restore or improve communication skills.
Accountable for effectively communicating with patients, families, physicians, nurses, rehabilitation staff, other hospital staff and outside groups to ensure efficient hospital and department operations and optimum patient care.
Maintain effective, timely and accurate patient records in accordance with hospital requirements.
Maintain current knowledge and understanding of therapy practices and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required along with a certificate of clinical competence (CCC) and Idaho state licensure.
A clinical fellowship year will be considered for individuals with the appropriate master's degree.

Previous experience is preferred as the incumbent will be working alone. A dual major in Speech Pathology/Audiology would be a great asset.
