Speech Language Pathologist
Inpatient Facility
Salary: up to $75,000
Responsibilities:
Evaluate voice, speech language, cognitive, communicative and swallowing abilities. Perform specialized testing or
non-standardized test procedures and observations.
Educate patient and family regarding evaluation findings and treatment recommendations.
Design and administer a treatment program appropriate to facilitate the communication needs of the patient.
Maintain appropriate documentation including evaluation reports, treatment plans, treatment notes on discharge reports.
Provide counseling and instruction to patient, family and other health care professionals.
Possess working knowledge of service provision and reimbursement regulations.
Evaluate the appropriateness of communication aids, ordering the aides and training the patient and responsible persons in their care.

Requirements for this job:
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Graduate of an accredited therapy program
