When you join the staff of Pi Beta Phi Rehabilitation Institute, Department of Hearing and Speech Sciences at (login to see company), you join a team of talented individuals dedicated to improving the lives of our clients. Physical therapists in this setting specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of adults with congenital and acquired neurological disorders, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, balance and vestibular dysfunction, and progressive neurological diseases. The department also provides mobility and seating services clinic. You’ll play a critical role in working within a team-oriented environment to help clients achieve their maximum level of independence.

Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- TN State Licensure
- 1+ year’s experience working with an adult neurological population
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Knowledge of vestibular assessments and treatment preferred

  • Providing physical therapy services to adults with both congenital and acquired neurological impairments
  • Collaborating with the healthcare and interdisciplinary teams (OT, Speech, Social Worker, MD, and Neuropsychology) to meet patient care, outcomes, and system improvement objectives
