Job Description
THIS IS IT! OUTSTANDING, OUTPATIENT ORTHOPEDICS and INPATIENT REHAB/ACUTE CARE OPPORTUNITIES.
About the Facility
We are a not-for-profit hospital health system that is extremely diverse in our clinical practice settings and are experiencing rapid growth. Our rehabilitation department treats in four primary clinical settings; inpatient, outpatient, home health and pediatrics. The current position that we have open is a combination outpatient & inpatient with about a 95/5% split caseload wise between the two settings respectively. We are very heavily orthopedically oriented in both areas with a lot of surgical reconstructions from our othro surgeon as well as other area orthopedist. One of the great aspects of our health system is that we are not-for-profit. From the therapist standpoint what this means is we are not trying to get as many people onto your schedule as possible to generate the maximum revenue. Our goal is quality patient care and one of the ways we achieve that is by setting all of our outpatient appointments for an hour with one-on-one time with the therapists. This means that the typical caseload is approximately 6-8 patients a day, total! This is just one of the many unique features that separate of from other health care providers. We also have great benefits that are near impossible to find elsewhere, such as hospital provided life insurance, retirement 403-B & pension plans, and tuition reimbursement just to name a few.
