Job Description

(login to see company) (STARS) is currently seeking a full time Pediatric Physical Therapist(additional STARS locations may be available). $5,000 Hire On Bonus! STARS is a comprehensive therapy provider with sites throughout the Treasure Valley. With STARS you'll find everything you need to make the most of your career.

You will have the opportunity to provide Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment to children ages 3 and up in an outpatient and a therapeutic pre-school setting. For children who need comprehensive rehabilitation treatment, STARS offers a full program of pediatric rehabilitation services. The program uses advanced medical developmental, educational, and recreational services under the direction of physical, occupational, and speech/language therapists. STARS’ therapy services incorporate neuro-developmental treatment techniques, early childhood philosophies, and sensory processing principles. Pediatric rehabilitation is used for children with Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Neurological Disorders, Genetic Syndromes, Orthopedic Needs, communication, feeding and swallowing disorders. This is an opportunity to work with a multi-disciplinary team which includes Speech Language Pathologists and Occupational Therapists. Skills, knowledge, education and experience:

1. Must hold a B.S. degree in physical therapy from an accredited institution.
2. NDT or PNF Certification preferred.
3. One year experience as a registered physical therapist in a pediatric setting preferred.
4. Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary team members.
5. Interpersonal communication skills in a team or interdisciplinary work situation preferred.
6. Licensed in Idaho as a Physical Therapist.
