The Physical Therapist evaluates patients, develops appropriate treatment plans as ordered by physician or other referral source and administers and reevaluates treatment plans to help assure maximum patient benefit from the treatment program. The Physical Therapist educates patients, families and caregiver to promote patient participation and attainment of therapeutic program goals.
Requirements:
• Current Alaska Physical Therapist license
• Graduation from Physical Therapist Baccalaureate, Masters or Doctorate degree program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (Foreign trained therapists receive equivalency evaluations during licensure process)
