Physical Therapy Assistant
Acute Care Facility

This facility is an acute-care health care system, which treats more than one million patients each year, with 3,025 beds throughout Central Florida.
We also offers a wide range of health services for the entire family, including many nationally and internationally recognized programs.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing direct and indirect services to specific age groups in the acute care, inpatient and/or outpatient rehabilitation settings.
Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating in achieving the goals of the physical medicine department.
Adheres to the Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies
Participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all

Requirements for this job:
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Minimum Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
Strong interest in working with a variety of patients with multiple diagnoses such as neurological, orthopedic, pediatric, wound care, lymphedema, caradic, etc.
Must have some computer knowledge, CPR is preferred
