Outpatient Facility

This acute rehabilitation facility is part of a not-for-profit healthcare system dedicated to meeting the healthcare needs of the community. Responsibilities:
The Physical Therapist Assistant assumes responsibility and accountability under the supervision of the Physical Therapist for a designated group of patients and provides physical therapy modalities and treatments in accordance with established policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality of patient care for individuals with physical impairments.
Responsible for maintaining standards of professional and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Providing care to; pediatric, adolescent, young, middle and older adult patients utilizing therapeutic modalities and principles in an interdisciplinary collaborative approach.

Requirements for this job:
Current California State Physical Therapy Assistant License and Heartsaver certificate
Graduate from an accredited school of therapy for Physical Therapy Assistant
