Occupational Therapist Supervisor
Skilled Nursing Facility

Responsibilities:
Assists in the direction of activities in the therapy department. Supervises staff and coordinates the student program.
Responsible for the evaluation of patients' functional status and needs, and the design and implementation of a corrective treatment
plan according the principles and practice of therapy. Continuous assessment of the patient's progress and modification of the plan and goals as necessary, collaborative consultation with other health care professionals and maintenance of accurate and timely medical and business records.
Participation in departmental quality improvement activities, community outreach and program development is also required.

Requirements for this job:
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
Recent experience in acute care and proficiency in hand therapy required
Experience in ergonomics evaluations helpful
