Job Description

Occupational Therapist
Inpatient Rehab Facility

This position offers a $500 Sign on Bonus or Paid CEU's.

Acute care facility providing award-winning patient care. Offering comprehensive wage and benefits package that meets our employees and their families.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for evaluation, planning, directing and administering occupational therapy services
Assists patients reach their maximum performance and level of functioning and learn to live within the limits of their capabilities
Coordinates, delegates and supervises responsibilities assigned to support staff
Ensures patient charges are accurate and entered on a timely basis
Participates in operational aspects of the department, maintains performance improvement activities and participates in PI activities
Provides input in formulating budget, assists in evaluating department versus budget controls and takes appropriate action to remain in budget guidelines
Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, organizational safety and fire safety programs
Will provide patient care for infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups

Requirements for this job:
Current license in state of practice
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of therapy
Affiliation experience or employment experience in a physical disability setting is preferred
Must be currently certified by the National Board of Certification for Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) or eligible for NBCOT
