Occupational Therapist: Outstanding ACUTE REHAB opportunities. We are looking for highly motivated and intellectually curious professionals to work in our busy facility providing compassionate and quality care.
Our primary role is to help our patients, residents, and clients gain and maintain as much control and independence in their lives as possible. We emphasize strengths, not limitations. We provide the appropriate setting and level of care that enable individuals to reach their highest functional level.
Our in-house therapy staff offers a broad range of intensive therapeutic services designed to maximize the functional capabilities of our patients in the Acute Care setting. Our goal is to enable them to reach their highest level of independence as quickly as possible. Our highly advanced program, incorporates the expertise of our distinguished team of professionals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates patients according to physician referral.
2. Treats patients according to plan using conventional treatment methods. 3. Completes all patient documentation.
4. Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
5. Demonstrates open and effective communication with other health care providers.
6. Demonstrates an active involvement in continuous learning.
7. Participates in activities that promote department operations and program development.
8. Committee involvement.
