Staff Occupational Therapist
Inpatient Facility/56 Beds

Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients referred for occupational therapy incorporating data from medical records, patient/family interview and observation of patient
performance
Assesses performance components of strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, cognition, as related to independence in
living skills. Determines rehab potential
Collaboration with the patient and other team members, establishes appropriate goals, and develops the OT plan of care
Implements and/or supervises the implementation of patient's treatment plan
Seek resources as appropriate
Administers treatments requiring the skills and knowledge of a specialist
Modifies treatment plan as needed based upon clinical outcomes of therapy
Determines appropriateness of patient's response to treatment and consults with physician

Requirements for this job:
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Graduate of an accredited therapy program
