JOB DESCRIPTION
Clinic Director candidates should have at least 3 years of clinical experience as well as some leadership experience. Must have strong, confident ability to develop relationships with physicians, insurance companies, and other referral sources. Physical therapists at our client's outpatient orthopedics clinics provide quality care for general orthopedics conditions and sports-related injuries. Manual skills a PLUS, but will train!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Evaluates patients according to physician referral.
2. Treats patients according to plan using conventional treatment methods. 3. Completes all patient documentation.
4. Initiates and documents patient teaching including family and/or significant others. Uses appropriate Patient Education documentation modality.
5. Demonstrates open and effective communication with other team members.
6. Demonstrates an active involvement in continuous learning.
7. Participates in activities that promote Clinic operations and program development.
8. Committee involvement.

VITAL STATS:
• Supervise both clinical and admin. staff and ensure compliance
with the APTA/AOTA standards and clinic policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership in establishing the philosophy of
rehabilitation for the facility with fellow staff members and based on the needs of the patients.
• Provide direct patient care including the initial evaluation,
determination of the treatment program, and implementation of the treatment program.
• Conduct ongoing evaluation of the patient’s progress in
cooperation with other members of the health care team. Maintain an up-to-date record of individual patient treatment sessions.
• Oversees the maintenance of the clinical records in accordance
with the facility’s policy and procedure manuals.
