Job Description

Director of Therapy Operations DTO
(Physical Therapy preferred)

The Director of Therapy Operations will provide direction and leadership for all therapy areas.
The DTO will oversee all PT/ OT/ and SLP operations.
The DTO will carry a 50% caseload.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensures quality outcomes in a cost effective manner for the facility.
Serves in a regional specialist capacity.
Provides education and direction of the team's function, purpose and goals.
Communicates, collaborates and coordinates with team members to provide quality patient care and to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Provides education in the areas of clinical competency, continuous quality improvement, infection control, employee health, safety, case management and program evaluation.
Recruits and manages designated clinical and support staff.
Evaluates and counsels team members on an ongoing basis and as appropriate.
Effectively generates action plan for solving problems and resolving conflicts as they occur in accordance with established Corporate, hospital, and departmental policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:
3-5 years experience in a hospital therapy management position preferred
Current license as Physical Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, or Occupational Therapist in the state of Idaho
Current CPR certification
