Occupational Therapy Rehab Manager

This facility is not-for-profit corporation providing the highest level of quality residential communities, health care programs, and services for older adults from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
Evaluates patients by administering appropriate occupational therapy tests and measures to determine treatment needs
Formulates patient goals and treatment plans; consults with physicians and nursing staff; makes recommendations regarding the patient's
occupational therapy treatments
Performs MDS assessments according to timeframes determined by the MDS Coordinator
Delegates patients to the appropriate personnel depending upon complexity of the patient's needs
Supervises and monitors delegated occupational therapy treatment; reviews and co-signs documentation as needed

Requirements for this job:
Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited physical therapy program
Current or pending state license in practicing state
Prefer previous experience with older adults in acute care or rehabilitation settings
Previous experience with Medicare and MDS assessments is helpful
