Job Description

A Senior Health Director:
*Coordinates multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-specific care to the senior population within residential, retirement, independent or assisted living communities. Monitors clinical outcomes for the highest level of excellence in clinical care.
*Communicates with the physician, hospitals, and facilities on care provided. Meets with existing and potential customers to educate on clinical components of Gentiva Senior Health.
*Builds relationships with clinical, administrative, operational, and sales teams, as well as physicians, hospitals, facilities, and community partners to ensure the highest level of customer service. Monitors customer satisfaction results.
*Develops and implements operating, financial, and marketing standards for the growth of the Specialty in the location.
*Assesses market potential, competition, regulatory climate, licensure requirements and community resources for Gentiva Senior Health.
*Collaborates in the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of clinical staff for the Specialty.
*Develops training programs for field staff to facilitate their understanding of the Specialty. Acts as mentor to the field staff.
*Assists with the preparation of Specialty budget and monitors expenditures to ensure compliance with approved budgetary constraints.
*Acts as a central resource for information on the Specialty.

Qualifications
*Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or the equivalent required.
*A minimum of five years experience in the geriatric specialty area including three years of supervisory experience.
*A Diploma from an accredited Registered Nurse Program and current unrestricted licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) to which assigned required.
*ACLS and ANCC credentialing preferred.
